Welcome to my personal page!
I was born and raised in a small farming community in Iowa
and attended the University of Iowa. I have also lived in Peoria
and Knoxville, Illinois, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Grand Rapids,
Michigan, and a Maryland suburb of Washington D.C. In 1980 I
moved to Florida. My previous career was in finance and changed
to sales when I moved to the Orlando area. At that time I worked
for an international corporation doing account sales and by 1982
was among the top 10 sales people in the country. Of course,
all of that changed when I had my little girl! After staying
home with my daughter for several years, I decided to return to
work and pursue a career in real estate.
I have enjoyed that career since 1988 and have assisted many
corporate transferees. We work together to find just the right
home and locate all the other things to make their transition
smooth and lifestyle complete. I have personal experience with
both public and private schools and talk to lots of other parents.
I show my customers churches, medical facilities, shopping, banks,
the post office and the nearest hardware store. I also point out
all the great restaurants and specialty shops along the way. In
the Orlando area we have recreation and entertainment for all
ages. I can usually assist with finding the activities the
family members enjoy after they relocate.
Here are excerpts from a few letters of appreciation my company
has received about me from past customers over the years. I
thank them for taking the time to write and for allowing me to
use their comments here. One of the joys of being a Realtor
is getting to know so many wonderful people.
- A young couple from New Orleans writes, "The house
we recently bought is the first one we've owned, and we were
complete novices when it came to the process of house-hunting.
Your agent Susan Ritterpusch made it a truly wonderful
experience. She is a superb listener and was completely
sensitive to our needs."
- "Susan's help was wonderful. she goes beyond the
call to duty to make it easy for the seller." writes a
local retired couple
- A family leaving Orlando says, "The sale of our
home was handled both professionally and attentively by Susan
Ritterpusch. We consider Susan not only a first class Realtor,
but also a good friend and we can recommend her without
reservation."
- A couple referred by his company's Vice President of
Human Resources says "Susan was outstanding, polite and
always professional. She's the best Realtor I ever worked
with."
When I'm not working with home buyers and sellers, I enjoy
time with my family. My husband and I are among the early baby
boomers and both juggle demanding careers, upkeep of a large
home and yard, and life with a teenager. We are very involved
with our daughter's activities at school and church and love to
take family vacations. I was very involved with the Girl Scouts
and was the cookie chairperson for my daughter's troop for 5
consecutive years. We all enjoy our membership at the YMCA.
We love our church and are involved with many ministries there.
Our family has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and Coalition
for the Homeless. I enjoy gardening and my daughter is a willing
helper.
I also love to cook and we all love to eat! We enjoy
entertaining, preparing gourmet meals for just the three of us.
We also love going out to many of Orlando's wonderful restaurants.
When we travel, my husband has a real knack for choosing great
places to eat. We have enjoyed professional sports in Orlando
and love the arts. All in all, we're the typical busy family
with lots of interests.
